My daughter, Daina-Lee had a terrible genetic disorder called Infantile Metachromatic Leucodystrophy. Our first daughter died from the disease at the age of 2. The good people at Cristopher Robin cared for Daina, day & night, until she passed at the age of 5. They fed here, cradled her, gave her her meds and made her as comfortable as was possible.There were many children with horrible diseases there. But, they all seemed to be happy. The caring staff became one with us. They were compassionate, hard-working and model human beings to whom we should all look up. I envy and admire them all.
