I met John at a fundraiser and was astonished on how a man is his 40s can still be using his status as a firefighter to pick up women. He was not very subtle in his approach and considering it was a charity event, completely offline. I tried to brush him off, but he was very persistent. I later found out that he was married which made my experience even more revolting. Hopefully his wife will find out and put this ego maniac out on the curb.
