I was a patient of Dr. Ida Carolyn Smith-Pelletier for some years, 2002 - 2009. I found her to be dishonest, cynical and cruel. She misrepresented her qualifications (she works as a psychiatrist w/o proper training or certification -- not that she informs her patients of that) although she pontificated on psychiatry. As time went on, I came to distrust her and checked her assertions with academic sources and found her to be wrong in every instance. I believe I serve the public good in saying this because she continues to practice psychiatry, without professional or moral qualification, and to date with total immunity. Certainly, she had no respect for my confidentiality but did not confine herself to the truth.

Dr. Carolyn Smith Pelletier is the best at what she does. I give her all credit for saving my life. It is because of her that i can smile for real. She is dedicated, extremely knowledgeable, very caring, and is not afraid to say it like she see's it. There are not enough words that could possibly come close to defining her character. She is a special gift to humanity.
