WHO IS BEHIND THIS PILE-ON? AND WHAT'S UP WITH THE TIMING? I'M NOT BUYING ANY OF IT... Let me just stick my neck out here and state for the record that I have had many dealings with Mr Dale Prouse and found him to be both a trustworthy person and an effective businessman. Mr Prouse has been true to his word for as long as I have known him, and has always delivered what he has promised. In fact I was involved in the same project alluded to below by Mr James Hawley, whose comments bear absolutely no relation -- or relevance -- to the facts as I remember them. And my involvement in that project was far greater than Mr Hawley's. I will not even try to speculate here as to why Mr Hawley has gone to the length of posting these comments; his motives are opaque and inscrutable to me. I can only invite Mr Hawley to disclose, truthfully, his own interests in the matter. As far as I can see, Mr Prouse is guilty of the great, unforgiveable sin of success. He has built real businesses and created real jobs. The other comments here (assuming even that they come from separate, distinct individuals) sound to me like the words of people who have achieved nothing in life nor created anything of value. Hardly a jury of his peers. I should also point out that I believe I am taking a real risk by using my real name here. But my revulsion at the disgusting spectacle of an honourable man being unfairly dragged through the gutter far outweighs my apprehension at becoming the next target of "Stercus Feri" et al. At least I will be able to look myself in the mirror.

Phakinkoo Gaai (Neyo)

Dale Prouse is a con artist. He convinced some friends and I to invest with him in 2008 and he stole our money. When we tried to take him to court he faked amnesia.

Have you invested with a company called "Sportmafia?" I invested 1000$ with them three years ago and never received (repeatedly promised) share certificates. Upon asking for the return of my money, I was greeted with silence. The company owner is one Dale Prouse of Edmonton AB (currently living in hotels and of no fixed address). I invested another $2000 at the same time with him in an unrelated business venture which again, when I requested it's return, was greeted with nothing. If Mr. Prouse, who poses as a local businessman, had disclosed his prior conviction for welfare fraud or arrears in maintenance payments, it's quite unlikely I - or anyone else - would have invested with him. I'm past the feelings of guilt, shame and gullibility of being conned. At this point, it's about justice for myself and anyone else who lost money to this person. Prouse has been given ample opportunity to return my funds. The Edmonton Police Service Economic Crimes Division has been contacted, but small fraud cases being backlogged, it may be some time if they do anything at all. Similarly, the Alberta Securities Commission has been contacted. If my money were returned, I would be happy to withdraw my complaint. It's a shame that I will likely have to go to small claims court to deal with a fraudster. Feel free to contact me madfidlr at yah00 dot ca

I had the distinct displeasure of being introduced to Dale Prouse in May of 2013. I was introduced to him via friends and he purported to be a business consultant. I must say I found his services sub par. I would not recommend hiring this man for any reason what so ever. In fact I wouldn't recommend even being in the vicinity of Dale Prouse. He's an obnoxious loud mouth with nothing of value to ad to any conversation or social gathering. I find him repulsive. In the last several months I have spoken to many people who allege he is a con artist and I find the suggestion plausible. I understand that he has a criminal record for fraud and as of this writing he is behind in over $13,000 in child support. Why he would think I need a business consultant with a criminal record for fraud and who owes Child Maintenance over $13G is beyond me! I wouldn't hire him to sweep my driveway.

I know Dale from several years ago. He's one of the biggest a**holes I've ever met; a compulisve liar and a thief.
