Beth talks a good talk and is a very good speaker, preacher and proclaimer of the Word. However, in reality, she is hypocritical, self-serving, manipulative, insensitive, uncaring, lacking in empathy, especially if someone is ill and defenseless, or suffering from any form of emotional or mental illness or stress. We would like to think that people really can change, but in the years that we had contact with Beth (and, admittedly, quite some time has passed since then) we did not see any such change. During our father's illness, she was emotionally unavailable, abusive verbally, humiliated him on a regular basis, reminded him constantly that she had to work because he could no longer do so, and she, through her absolute coldness and unfriendliness, cut off all contact between our father and his friends, as well as most of his family. Does this sound like the kind of person who should have anything to do with your organization or the public?
